robot twins?

just read something along these lines on the rfl forum and it ticked off a bit of curiosity in my mind..

if i where to make two identical versions of kang/cobra to an event, would both of them be allowed to fight as the same robot at the same event?

i know pussycat did that at robot wars uk

i'd say so

if we have a CF body bot and it gets owned you cant repair the chassis
so assuming you smoke the motors which blows the ESC which leaves you as cannon fodder for the other bot which kills your chassis well basically we would put the wheels into a new chassis, new ESC.
i think clones are ok provided only one of them is active at a time

I agree, whats the difference between having a spare part for everything and an assembled bot? just a few hours...
