Junkyard Exhibiton Event - 21st May

Hey y'all

Just letting you all know that i have organised an event for the Junkyard on Saturday the 21st May. It will start at 4pm and go untill about 8pm. Enty Costs $5 with half the proceeds going to the competitors.

This will be the first trial of the exhibiton format. If all goes well then we will most likely be running these more often down at Rye. I am not expecting a HUGE crowd this time.

The line up includes:

The (new) Next Project - driven by Neweyn
Hellraiser II - driven by Tim(CellDamage)
Formido - driven by Matt
Vincent - driven by Rick

The star bot will be King Pincher. We will be capping the night off with a Cluster Match that pits the 4 robots above againsts King Pincher.

Any questions? fee free to post or call me 0409009512

Interesting

This is being organised independenty by Ben , of all other events and is not associated with Robowars.

I should be able to show up with Vincent and stay for most of the evening and will be very interested to see this new "formula". Obviously you need to contact Ben if you wish more info on this format .

Unfourtunatly the Junkyard arena is presently under modification , with the drivers stations being relocated to the rear of the arena . So this will put some pressure on me to complete the modifications before Saturday . Any voulenters greatfully accepted .

Unfortunatly Daniel forgot to bring his digital video camera and I didnt have enough time to get another one. Pity because we had some excellent fights (expecially when that cyclone fence kept falling on the bots!).

I have recovered the footage from the security recorder at the Junkyard
Although the images are chunky and low res - I will post them shortly .
They take some cleaning up , but all the fights were recorded in some form .

I have uploaded all the pictures I took on the night
http://robowars.org/forum/album_cat.php?cat_id=3

Sorry theres not a lot - but I had other things on my mind .
