Ok since i have strarted a thread for Heamorage I had better put something in it lol..
Heamorage is team vertex's Third? robot to be built(second feather weight) .It was built useing mainly junk parts and was in no way desighned .
It has been in the first robot battles held in Australia and is still going although it has had many variations in is drive system starting of with 12 volt compresor motors .
They started stripping gears so were modified and made from aluminium then it started cooking motors so it got some tiny blower fan motors made to cool them which were made from servo motors driveing modified coke bottle lids as centrifical fans.

I then moved on to drill motors after meeting up with Brett (Spockie)over the internet when we stumbled on his robo wars site .. or he stumbled on our web site (not sure which way round it happened ) I purchased an IBC controler that Brett had been deshigning at the time and it was one of the earlier ones built when he decided to start selling them to the other robot builders .

Heamorage has a car window winder mechasim that works as a lifter on one end of the robot and it has a fan powered circular saw on the other end . What ever end is the front is usualy decided by the person driveing it Very Happy .
It also has a set of arms or wings that extend out the side of the robot when the lifter is raised. These arms are a selfrighting mechanism for when it gets tiped up side down. So far it has never had to use them in battle.

After siting dormant for a few months i have put it on the bench today and replaced a couple of bolts in the motor mounts and refastened one of the selfrighter cables . It just needs a controler put back in and it will be ready to take down to Brisbane on the weekend.

I put in the bolts on the motor mounts and superglued the nuts then the lifter broke as soon as i tried it . so i had to manutacture a coupling for the motor to the final gear that was originaly brittle plastic s it got replaced with steel .
Then i gave it a test drive and worked out why the mount was lose .. i must have undone it last event it ran in to tighten the wheel up Embarassed so that will have to come out again tommorow and get some super glue on the wheel threads lol

Heamorage has had its self righting cables replaced and the spining bar now spinning in the right direction this time the lifter is working ok i found a broken wire on one of the limit switches so that was an easy fix.
