Movie Maker is the easiest to get basic edited vid done quickly.. it has maximum bit rate limitations AFAIK so isnt good for making hi quality files or DVD's.
The Ulead Video/DVD Studio and Pinnacle Studio products are probably about the middle in terms of complexity vs capability. Nice mix of features, not too hard to learn.
Sonic Foundry Vegas and Adobe Premiere are the top-shelf products that are like Photoshop. Very Complex to learn, but unlimited in potential.
I use Vegas myself. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

If you where on a Mac you would probably consider Final Cut Pro or Adobe after effects. Very cool programs _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

i have absolutely nfi what those other programs are, all i saw was windows movie maker in there
just import the clips, move them into the little film reel down the bottom and save it in high, med or low quality and your done, you can add music and titles in there if you want.
hey if its only to show of weapons testing or something i wouldnt bother putting fancy titles and the like through it.. i fast foward all of it anyway _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

Adobe Premiere, personally i found it easier to use than Windows Movie Maker, just more complex because it has more features.

Absolutly! Premiere Pro rules! Iwas a bit dissapointed in the audio mixer but the rest is amazing. If only I could afford to buy After-effects
I still use Movie Maker for importing DV footage sometimes as its much more tollerant of timecode defects _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
