I wanted to do a Vert spinner, but the problems with trying to over come the gyroscopic forces of a 8000rpm 2.5kg flywheel when trying to turn and hit the opponent.
lol just look at the stats .........power spinners will come undone very soon ....just as hypnodisc did in the uk one good season and then it it got wolloped everytime .........a few scratches can mean the difference between winning and loosing ,so i found out last event _________________ Photos - http://community.webshots.com/album/154092733uokpXC

mmm, I looked at the latest stats of RWUK 7, A spinner won the comp beating a rammer....
Look at Megabyte in the US, he wins so much, they put him in the superheavyweight class with no extra weight and he wins that as well!
Hypnodisc also lose most of it's battles due to drive problems and the spur gear drive setup. Talk to the boys yourself
C'mon Chris, get that vert spinner of yours happening, it looks like it has some potential! _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

yeah well he isnt doing too well these days. they increased the rpm of the shell and decreased the spin up time and torque and it gets some good hits. bounces across arena gets hit in wall and stops then gets owned.
Their superheavyweight is doing well though. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

well i dusted of SORRY the other day managed to spend a couple of hours on the old boy and he is good as new ...nice new tungsten saw blade ...should last a bit longer than the others ... ..... will run the saw at 18v the rest at 14.4 so nothing spectacular didnt get to change the drive motors but i hope to asap the gear boxes are still perfect ,but i did notice the motors getting a bit hotter a bit quicker so we will see how it goes _________________ Photos - http://community.webshots.com/album/154092733uokpXC

had an hour or so on sorry today and have decided to go with the 'lifter' 'flipper' weapon i looked at end of 2004 season ......the reason i wrote flipper is that it lifts real quick so i couldnt decide ......a couple of things to sus out but looking good so i guess it will goodbye to the old SORRY and in with the new ,happy to drop the one point for round 1as its a new wqeapon type ,it would be nice to have the 'drop worst result' clause hope to get time to test this time around but its looking dodgy again _________________ Photos - http://community.webshots.com/album/154092733uokpXC

i have also doubled the wheel diametre so itll be a lot quicker and now have 30mm wide traction _________________ Photos - http://community.webshots.com/album/154092733uokpXC
