How safe is your microwave? Shocked It should be fairly well shielded to prevent it from emitting large interferrence to other 2.4Ghz equipment Confused

the link was VERY weak to start with. I don't know this was dad doing the linking i'm just repeating what he said when that happened

our microwave knocks out our 2.4 Ghz phone.
keep in mind, microwave 1KW transmitter, phone ~ 1mW transmitter.
dosent take much leakage for it to overpower it.

though the new one dosent.

the main danger from microwave radiation (as i understand it) is cooking your corneas. (The lens of your eye), if that gets much hotter than about 45c or so (i think) it gets damaged, and the thing is you cant feel it, you have no nerves in it.

wouldnt bother me ;-P the most modern thing in my car is the radio, and that *literally* uses a bit of string for the tuner.

Sorry to kick up an old topic but I didn't want to start a new topic when this one was here Wink .

I'm also after a 4 channel radio with at least the TX RX and 2 servos.

Anyone got an old one they were looking to sell?

thanks
Simon
