Hello Robo Fans from the indoor helicopter crue

Thanks to Brett for being so kind as to spare a thread for us to post in

Ive been teaching Brett to fly for almost a year now, he's getting better Laughing

ok maybe no Twisted Evil

Who knows some of the robo people might birth an interest in Indoor helicopters
and also some Indoor heli people might land (see land=pun) an interest in robowars.

I did get to see robowars by chance whilst holidaying in Brisbane not to long ago, my family and i were just walking along and bam it was right there, so we stuck around for a while

ill ask Stephen to post some heli pictures here so you can see what we are all about. Maybe even some crashed helis Razz he doesnt have a crash picture of my heli but he is always there ready to swoop (see swoop = pun) if anyone wipes out, hes hungry for me, i know he is, he was egging me on the other day, wanting a new victim. Twisted Evil

This is a pic of my outdoor heli
Canopy has since passed away due to a small locktite or lack of incident
its a shame, she was real pretty and cost a packet

and when indoor helis attack
ignore the doll she was just chilling out

From the wall of most Heli-hangars and schools...

"Helicopters are different from airplanes. Helicopters don't fly -- they beat the air into submission.

An airplane by its nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly by itself.

A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces and controls working in opposition to each other, balanced intuitively by the pilot, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously .

This is why being a helicopter pilot is so different from being an airplane pilot, and why helicopter pilots are brooding introspective anticipators of trouble. They know if something bad has not happened yet, then it is just about to.
