For sale / wanted non robot related
i think its fair to have a section for this to not clog the other one
just throwing some interest out there on this one, no definites yet.
im looking at selling my little 50cc mini pocket bike as i just bought a 12hp watercooled version i had it at the last event day and gave lindsay a go on it and it didnt die so there pretty tough
speed is pretty nuts. ive modded it up good and it goes about 60-70kmh or so and pushes about 4-5hp. ive only managed to wind it out once and had to stop when i nearly planted it up the ass of a car with a set of jets for the carb and setting the squish properly along with a gearing change it would hit 80 im sure. the butt dyno indicates this thing hauls!
spent $330 on mods along with the $120 purchase price of shipping so i was thinking of about $300-350 with complete working spare engine and stock exhaust to go with it. awesome fun and surprisingly cheap as well. $5 worth of fuel gets you going all week and the spare parts are disturbingly cheap! i.e. new carb is like $10 engine $50 etc..
and ive got all the receipts for the parts. at the moment a quick run down of them is
- bored out engine (39 to 50cc) with an extra 3 transfer ports milled into the engine case
- custom exhaust, i modded it from a performance add on.
- 14mm carb up from a 9mm
- full circle crank (havent balanced it yet)
- adjustable race clutch and a lightened out flywheel
- aluminium pull starter mechanism as the plastic ones explode often
- three stage fibreglass reed valves.
would prefer to sell it local feel free to come give it a try if you want!

lol if no one takes the bike shall think about it. thought about how your going to use it yet? will probably need some serious mounting. the existing bolt holes are quite the sucks _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

We can do it, we have the technology
...
I hope xD _________________ ( •_•)
I'll give you $50 for it, minus the motor and shit. I got a decent electric motor I could put in it instead _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Those things were not made for tall guys! Do you think the handlebars could be raised about 20cm? If so, I would think about taking the frame for an EV and selling the motor(s) to anyone who wanted to make an ICE weapon.
Just thinking on this some more: can you please post the sprocket and wheel sizes, plus the width of the frame at the motor mount. No deed to be super accurate, I just need to get an idea about what motors might work (thinking a Mag C40 might be the trick) _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

haha yes only for small people and children (this will make a great christmas present come to think of it!)
i had planned out an etek conversion but with the motor at nearly 10kg + another 10 for enough batteries to get the same torque level (to get the same torque as the watercooled engine at an equivalent rpm you need to pull about 250 amps) it just wasnt worth it at all.
i would think a couple of those cheap UH brushless motors would make a better choice maybe 5 in a bank or something. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

I was thinking of less acceleration and a longer run time - a Mag S28-400 and a 10S, 8P pack of A123 cells, which weighs under 10Kg without mounting. The A123 pack will give 33V, 19AH and 600A If that gets boring, there should be room for a second motor. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

if 20KW gets boring on a bike that weighs 15kg you have problems.
Cassies 250CC bike is ~40HP = 30KW. It weighs ~200kg and will happily pop wheelies.
Your biggest concern should be working out how to hang on to the bastard. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Might want to build in *van avoidance* technology too. _________________ ( •_•)

I had a bit of a re-think on this; it would be better for fine evasion and kinder on the nads to use a push bike, it might be easier to fit the batteries in as well. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
