So....
They like all these procedures and rules, but don't do meeting write ups in a way we can understand easily.

to be fair, these are not the official minutes, just a quick report. I hope it will be explained more clearly.

why not just say "you must use a balancer" if thats what you actually want.
saying you may only use 7 cell packs is just silly and means you dont have to use a balancer. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

if there so paranoid about safety one must wonder why they just dont say the packs have to be untampered with and use the dewalt factory charger and balancer.
Well since these cells don't go bang like LiPols do, I don't see the problem of them becoming inballanced... Sure, all it will eventually do is damage the cell, but isn't that the same case with NiMH and NiCd too!?

The extra "rules" on LiPo are that those have to be recharged in a heat resistant container, including enough kitchensalt to cover the battery.
Anyone want to explain that one? Is the salt meant to neutralise the battery chemistry or is it to smother the fire when the salt melts at high temperature? I really hate to think of the corrosion problems that rule will promote. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Or the time at Robowars Brisbane, when I melted a large Nicad Pack? Electrolyte all through the bot and the bench. The FRA should look at the awesome power of rubberbands, much safer! _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
