I've done a 40 hour class on stick welding and oxy welding. My teacher was working in industry, and he wanted to see every bit we did, so he could give us feedback on what we were doing wrong.

Thanks Mike, I think I will just charge them parallel. I won't be taking much out of them after each fight because I'm only running 2 100w scooter motors.

Big update.

Got an order in from RMP, so I can do some upgrades Laughing .
Got some premade A123 packs from RMP, a bit disappointed with them Sad. I'll have to pull the heatshrink off them to balance them as their are no balance connectors Crying or Very sad Good job I asked for the packs to be made 1 cell high and have the cells put side by side.
I bought a 3 cell and a 4 cell pack to put in series to make 7 cells (~25V), which is perfect to mate to my Scorpion XL. I'll get alot more power out of it than the cheapy drill batteries I had been using.

I also bought the Astroflight A123 charger, it charges up to 10 cells. It will charge 1-4 cells at just under 8A, dropping to around 6A for 5 cells, just under 6A for 6 cells and 4A for 9 cells. In otherwords the charger maxes out at around 60W for 4 cells and 130W for 9 cells.

I also got some stuff to build an offroad 'bot and I should now have everything now for my RC car (after I bought some of the Altronics Polymorph).
