What QEV? Do you mean the little fill/dump tap? Or the 1/2" shut off valve?
The bottle is in there permently and will have a 1/2" drill shoved through the pin valve. The robot is then filled through the dump valve. The pneumatics will be tilted in the robot so liquid CO2 goes through into the burket. Might only get a few flips, but Devastator has historically only used up to 3 in a fight.

The rear plate has been cut out and the motors attached. This afternoon I'll cut out the remaining chasis plates and weld it all up.

Do you have a CAD of your design? That is probably like asking if the pope is a catholic.

Why do you have the wheels at that angle?

Lately my CAD's tend to cause a lot of complaints so I decided to not post one this time.

It is this in steel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kB4UVOnrwl8

For more info look back a couple of pages.

It is just missing the arm and electronics.

"The bottle is in there permently and will have a 1/2" drill shoved through the pin valve"

Make the drill size just a little smaller say 11mm or 10 mm ....the bottle neck thread is 5/8" UNF and the tapping drill for this is 37/64 " ....a tad more meat left in the brass valve might be a good idea.

Unrestricted Liquid feed ....interesting to see how that actually works out .
Possible problems:-
A frozen ram and or a long piston return time due to having to exhaust the extra gas being produced by the liquid.

Looks funky man, hope its effective in battle.

(awards you a gold star for building a robot from steel and not using polycarb as main material for construction).

Any testing vids.

Devestators ram can handle unregulated CO2, so it runs at 50-55 bar at 20°C
