Well heres my opinions.

I LOVE the name (thats classic)

Heres my 2 cents though. If u wish itr to be another spinner well then having 4 wheel drive will take a heap of weight out of it.

My current project being a kinetic vert cpinner has taught me some things about weight and the odd 1 1/2 kg-3kg for those extra motors/wheels/mounts etc will mean less weight for armour, weopon system/batts etc.

SO my suggestion would be either knocking the first 2 wheels off and having it 2 wheel drive and a PHAT disc/bar at front or having the 4 wheel drive rambot.

It is doable, you just have to make every $ and Gram count.

Pfft, bugger the extra weight in the bar, just spin it a bit faster and keep the 4WD

Yeah i guess. I am the sorta guy where it has to be a good saw bot or a good spinner and not really a mixture of ram bot and spinner. Should be cool though.

WHat u plan for spinner motor and stuff wayde.

ok well as for the disk its aliminium so its light as is and it will have lawnmower blades doing the damage so its all good there i will probably have a fan motor powering it (drill definitly wont cut it for this no pun intended) so because the disk is so light i should be able to have the 4 wheel drive however i like the tank tread idea because of this bots 2nd use (grass cutter) so it will need to be able to go over bumpy terran and it might be perfect for bretts all terran arena if he ever gets it done lol Laughing

ha ha. cool. I have a old lawnmower out back thats probably busted but may wor which i planned to turn into a nasty rc lawnmower to use out fron. was going to have gas motor and blade at back but also a fan motor powering one of those olden drum cutting blades like on Gary's middleweight.

Well I like the 4wd but maybe only have 2 front wheels powered or something. The 4wd will make it much easier to drive if done right and help remove that G force from the blade. Second it may help stop your robot spinning when the blade impacts another robot helping to not waste energy and put it where it counts.
Well there's my option

well i weighed the disk and its only 200g atm (with out the teath and the chain and that crap. and with the extra 1.6kg it shouold cover the weopon system so that easy with the 1st 12kg for the base (the 4wd the control system the bats and the armor+frame) and if it goes tank tracks (i forget so dont hold this as an opinion) the weight bonus for the tracks so what ever dosnt get used for the tracks should cover anything that isnt covered witht eh rest of the weight... i cant do much though untill i get the majority of the materials to build it Confused
