Hiya folks, can I get some advice, from those in the know, on whether these motors are likely to be worth a damn or not, please. I've asked a question as to what the stall and operating currents are, but no response as yet. The money is pitiful, but if they have zero chance of working out, then I'd rather save the pittance

with a rating of 5 Watts continuous, I would disregard them. I believe the motors in the XU-1s are about 50-100W

That might be OK for a much smaller bot, but its far too slow and underpowered for a featherweight. The off-set shaft indicates the gearbox has spur gears, which will break very easily.
