The motors look like plain old 12V chinese no-frills motors in the photo. Put 44.4V through them anyway, just have the camera running! Smile

plan is back to 22.2v supply, maybe 44.4 if we have the weight, and the motors are 18v drill motors

u can run drill motors at that voltage, just turn the servo travels way down on the radio

jeff ferrara ran drills on 36 volt in his old brushless bar spinner doing this

I was referring to the first post with the specs, despite unspokenly agreeing that they didnt look different to cheap drills Smile

Nice work Jtepper, particularly for going for that interesting overall design, im interested to see how it goes in combat

first spin up test today =) its a bit meh on 22.2v, might try and aqueeze that second pack in after all, instant spin up though, (blade weighs 2kg).

p.s. chain drilling a hole in a timing pulley is not smart, dont do it

what sort of motor have you got in there and on what gearing? if you have a decent quality motor youd be surprised how low a gear ratio you can run without running into trouble Smile

22v should get you as much power as you want depending on the max amp output of the packs. 2 in parrallel would be more then you could ever want tbh.

robot looks good though, love the custom wheels. you have more patience then i welding on all those nuts Shocked
