The thick PCV stuff I get has worked out really well; It doesn't shrink quite as much as the thin variety, however it stays flexible and is much harder to tear.
I have it in 2" and 3" OD so if your packs are a little smaller than those sizes I can send you some - it cost about $2 per foot. If those don't suit, Glen's suggestion is free and works a treat.

i just sat mine on the oil heater for 5 minutes the heat doesnt go through the plastic well at all. which is probably good for the shrinking process and bad for the life of the packs haha. but its the best of the compromises IMHO. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

I'm looking for a cheap external/outside dial caliper.
But with better depth, it needs to be 100mm or more. Also it needs to be the 0mm to say 20mm type.
The calipers that that guy sells only have a depth of 70mm. _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

My mates are making their own guitar pedals, are are needed a few components. But we haven't been able to find a shop that stocks most of what we need. Help anyone?
Heres a list of the needed components; midway down the page.
Thanks, Chris
looks like generic caps etc, jaycar will probably have most of that
otherwise farnell definitely will for a price (though free shipping now) _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Good luck with that, I tried to make some off the internet once and none ever worked, I think half the circuits are untested... Jaycar should have everything, but sometimes they specify weird germanium diodes and stuff because it affects the sound, apparently. _________________ ( •_•)
Hi guys I am chasing some HQ electrical wire and the connectors they put on the end of it for screw terminals. The little ones which are like a flat pin.
Its for wiring up an inverter for 415V 3 phase motors. So I don't care how much it costs just nfi where to get that sort of stuff from. Anyone an electrician? Is there any online suppliers. _________________ Steven Martin

Anywhere, Jaycar, Altrolnics, probably even bunnings. I think the ones your after are the fork crimp terminals; tho if you can remove the screw I would suggest ring terminals, then they cant pull out and electrocute you _________________ They say that he crossed the fine line, from insanity to genius.
Altronics seems to have the pin connectors I am chasing not sure if they are exactly what I want but look to be similar. They also have some HQ wire which looks better than jaycar.
It uses an old version of .Net so you might have to fiddle with the versions a bit or install it on an old XP machine. _________________ They say that he crossed the fine line, from insanity to genius.
