Fair enough, I tried Autocad 2000 export and it opens just fine in Rhino with the right dimensions. I had problems sending files to a local cutting shop a few years back, they couldn't process DXF files exported for a newer version of AC for some reason - never found out whether it was my software or theirs.
BTW: there might be a weight limit on the post pack bag, a box might be better. CAD sent, eagerly awaiting parts

Any progress on the group order? With some changes around here, the wedgebot is suddenly looking plausible for the nationals event, so I want to get stuck into it ASAP

if they dont stock it, can we also order some up to suit everyone's designs and send that to them too?
that way we split the shipping costs on hefty steels _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam

Definitely need to re-do the CAD file - I know how to make a better DXF now and I made the bot a bit smaller too.

Give RPG a call, they stock Bisalloy and Hardox in Brisbane, just get them to deliver a chunk to AWJ in Brendale.

are you guys just emailing the water jet place in Brendale? Or Oxycut? Or calling? I'm having trouble following the thread.
I'm still drawing my big axe heavyweight and am looking at 10 or 12mm plate. I have a phobia of calling people on a phone and want to know if you guys are just using email.
I'll keep my order seperate since it'll be heavier then yours and I know someone who lives in Brendale how can pick it up for me.

How long does it usually take for a quote to be returned?
