GB: Titanium Joe

I'm currently about to do an order from Titanium Joe for Philip and I, is there anyone else interested in some Titanium?
Shipping cost will be split by weight percentages and all sheets need to be within or near 15" square to minimize shipping costs.

You have until 5:00PM January 31st to get your requests in Smile

I am keen on a sheet of very thin stuff.

What thickness would you recommend for ants with bending and cutting @ home.

Stig uses about 0.8 mm Ti or 0.032". Though; I haven't cut or bent the good stuff.

I'm getting a few various bits to play with between 0.4mm - 1.0mm. Interested in the thin stuff to see how easy it is to work with and to see how tough it is against spinners.

Given what I have seen from that 1mm sheet. I think 0.8mm would still be way too thick.

Any idea, even rough, what the freight cost would be for say a piece of 6AL-4V that is 0.040" * 9.375" * 10.000" costing $25.65? I think that would be a suitable sized sample to try.

How can I make payment, would PayPal transfer be OK? That is where my "mad money" lives Smile

Last time I ordered in three 0.05"x12"x12" sheets of Titanium and it cost US$60 shipping. However I reckon the price wont change much if I added another 3-4 on top of that.

Forgot to update this.... The following was ordered:

1pc 0.040" x 9.375" x 10.000" 6AL-4V Titanium Sheet = $25.65 - Kato
1pc 0.032" x 13.52" x 15.500" 6AL-4V Titanium Sheet = $45.38 - Philip
1pc 0.032" x 10.000" x 10.000" 6AL-4V Titanium Sheet = $21.89 - Knightrous
1pc 0.016" x 8.500" x 9.500" 6AL-4V Titanium Sheet = $15.47 - Knightrous
Shipping was $69.00
======================================================
Total $177.39 USD Or $168.57 AUD (Exchange rate: 1 Australian Dollar = 1.05232 US Dollars).
I have split the shipping based on the volume of Titanium you purchased.

Kato = $25.65 + $17.31 = US$42.96 or AU$40.82
Philip = $45.38 + $30.95 = US$76.33 or AU$72.53
Knightrous = $37.36 + $20.73 = US$58.09 or AU$55.20

PM me your postal address and I'll send you bank details for payment.
