I guess the Vacuum Forming thread in Technical Chat is not the place to put this. Maybe the moderators could merge that thread in here, maybe not.

The LifeVenture plate arrived (very fast delivery from funkyleisure.co.uk) and at 70 grams it's a bit heavier than advertised. What is the rule of thumb for weight of spinning weapon vs. weight of robot overall for stability? I may have to add quite a bit of drillium in order to make weight, but I'm hoping the vacuum formed base will keep the chassis weight down.

Haven't progressed on the vacuum forming yet, no $$ for a couple of weeks.

Its a bit spendy for the amount of use it would get, but check this vacuum former out for ideas: http://www.phlatboyz.com/Phlatformer-Kit_p_10.html
