Hey all

Got the wooden test bed for new the game wired and trundling about and runs nicely with staggered drives, spins off if u gas it hard but if u start slow then ramp to full speed it drives real straight and and turns sharper and better than before

Wanted to try out this gyro

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/833647683X179727X8.pdf

I have it setup dead centre of robot, delay is off travel adjustment trim is a lil off full

its wired straight into my elev channel (left and right) and the remote gain to my throttle channel so i can turn it off/on with left stick

when i turn gyro off remotely and pick it up and turn it left and right it auto corrects itself but when i put it down on ground and go to drive it instantly deathspins

when i remotely turn it on the LED on the gyro is on constantly but even table testing when i turn left it stays on left uncontrollable and when i turn right it locks on right

Im reading through the guide glen did ages back and trial and error but was wondering if u guys see something stupidly obvious im doing wrong, im fair new to these so....

Thanks

Shouldn't it be wired into the Aileron (left/right) instead of Elevator (up/down). Not sure if you've typo'd or not, but thought I'd just throw it out there.

EDIT: Thanks to Brett for the term correction.

Pok, Service return Smile

Eleveron ? I assume you mean Elevator or Elevon ?

Elevon's are a channel-mixed combination of Elevators and Ailerons..
The straight up'n'down channel is Elevator.

Pondering about gyros with a rev input built in. If i run a splitter on one chan that goes the the gyro rev input and into my esc rev input. when flipped upside down and i rev the steering it should rev both the gyro and esc and allow me to drive with gyro upside down with correct steering.

Am i missing something here? Yes it will death spin until i switch the directions but will it work upside down that way?
