Cool..yes that's the idea, but this time it was perfectly and entirely on the side of the wheel. the axle was pointing straight up and perpendicular to th ground in 2 planes!!
Let me ask you a question.....How high is the kickplate in that arena? Or better still, how high should it be in an 8 x 8' arena running 3 pounders?

High enough that most spinners won't wreck your walls and low enough to see over. Perhaps, 1/2 - 2/3 the height of your average robot. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Here is the first test of the thunderdome arena with my undercutter....which at the end of the video, thinks it's a vertical spinner!!

Hot News on Melty technology!!
Anyone who ever followed the development of Melty brain combat robots, at least the era that began with Rich Olson's melty code, may recall that I modified the code to run with brushless motors. Well I am about to take it to the next level, and iron out the glitches and lack of good translation with my small fleet of melties. After a few years away from all this, I got the bug again and there should be some much improved melty action, beginning with my 3 pounder at Thunderdome. Omar. this is for you!!
Wish me luck
