What about cable tied to a metal frame, wrapped in foam?

That's fine, foam is padding. Smile

Are A123s acceptable to be zip tied to metal chassis with no padding. Cus if not I don't care.

Also what is the plan for weighing the robots. I am assuming as there is some big prizes on the line anything over the error of the scales prolly ~ 100g means your out.

Oh also bringing the fire bin with sand and I think we have an extinguisher or two but would prefer not to use it. As it covers the polycarb in crap.

Another thing we will need is equipment to clean the polycarb as its quite dirty and I figured prolly not worth cleaning it before driving 1000km. I would like to give it a wipe over with soapy water when we do the test setup and then probably need to go over it once more inside and out when its fully assembled.

I have lights and spare bulbs I believe but I will potentially need some power leads and power boards. I also am not sure what the power setup is likely to be in the pits. I have PSU and no powerboards or leads.

If anyone is near a bunnings could probably also use a few rolls of duct tape for running wires and also covering any gaps in the roof.

Think that is all I can think of atm.

My car is loaded and I am heading to Toowoomba tonight. I will drive down tomorrow. So big few days to come.

Well one robot is finished minus making a weopoin motor guard, trim the lid, weld a strenghening plate on the lifter forks and sharpen them to points.

Now just the other robot which is full wiring, testing, rear armour, weopon motor armour, LED, bourbon, collapse in fetal position....CRY

Two jobs and getting two robots finisherd, damn im tired
