I no longer provide support for this. You need to understand and compile code yourself or wait for me to get it working and buy through botbitz.

Steve

*sigh* ~$1000 and it might be worth the time it would take to do this.

http://www.ohloh.net/p/brushed/estimated_cost

Look at the estimated cost of the time to put into this project. The code is opensource if your not willing to learn how to use it yourself, I am not going to waste my time developing something specifically for you.

TZ85A hack

New to the forum. Thank you to Steve and others for their contributions. The TZ85A seems to be what we are looking for our robots. I used AVR Studio4 just as Steve showed. It worked...wow I expected problems. There weren't any! I was worried about the failsafe but it works also.

I tested on testbed but haven't tried in combat so that remains to be seen.

AVR version 4 is free and there is plenty of help on the Polulu website.

I notice that the product is backordered on Botbitz website so it looks like our best bet is to purchase several ESCs and reprogram them. Didn't want to pay the freight charge anyway!

Next is to try http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=27195 as an alternative to soldering.

Thanks again!
