Think I made 2 assumptions that were wrong. The incorrect spelling in the link.

The other was royzo's location, hence my recommending Australian supplier.

I later checked royzo's profile, no location listed.

Today I notice a new featherweight entry.

Everest
(Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal

So I am probably wrong again but if not I am happy to help.

Just wondering what motors your looking for?

Royzo is building a 30Kg Indian equivalent to a lightweight. I get the impression he wants to one-up Rust In Peace, a legendary Indian bot https://www.facebook.com/riprobot The big problem for all Indian builders is the exchange rate, making internationally sourced parts hugely expensive. The other problem is that none of them trust cheap Chinese sites like Aliexpress - I didn't either until recently Smile

Shipping from Australia isn't too bad if you need parts here. Only issue is things like motors get heavy very quickly.

Good find, but the mark-up is huge Shocked. The F30-400 motor that Royzo wants to use on the weapon is $415 USD on that site and only $259 USD from the RMP.

Well shipping/import/handling that isn't that unreasonable. Air freight on 4kg for one of those motors would be almost $100USD.

Yeh sounds about right they are probably just acting as a middle man for Robotmarketplace so might be more painful but slightly cheaper to go direct.

Is this for Nationals in Canberra or local comp?

Can we use e-bike motor controllers for combat robotics because it has built in brake mode.

Most (probably all) robot controllers have braking. An e-bike ESC would be OK but only if it has reverse and can switch from forward to reverse without a delay. The reason we don't often use R/C car ESCs is that they are not really designed to drive backwards and I imagine that e-bike controllers are the same. I would definitely read the manual very carefully before buying one.
