Well to start off this is Matthew from Rotwang driver of Ballistic, just recently started reading around the forums and thought i might post about my new robot witch will be on the way very shortly,
After discovering that flippers are pretty hard to K.O other robots due to alot of people haveing there robots invertable I figured I need something a tad more vicious therefor bender will be my new robot
Bender will be similiar to Reboot tho alot bigger, it will be a horizontal spinner with a fairly large disk/bar havent desided on the size yet it will possibly have electric windowwinders for the drive motors hopefully these should be alot more reliable than drills due to the fact spinners hit something there hitting there self as well.
At the moment its just a P.O.P but we almost have all the parts to start construction for real, ill keep everyone updated on how its comeing along

If this is Gary's reply to my words of "Build a Spinner", this robot will be the one to revenge Plan B
Well dad and me figured if you wanna play it soft will play it soft, if you wanna play it hard than will play it hard fairs fair
And we been planing to build a spinner for some time like this one just finaly thought it was about the right time to do it with the Sydney competion comeing up mid this year and all, also this has nothing to do with getting back at Plan B i swear :p

Bender is coming along nicely; he went to the builders meeting too.
His drive is wired and working, just need to mount the main power switch and finish wiring the main weapon relay and the electrical system is go.
His main central framework is tacked together; his outer armour and weapon assembly are modular and can be changed easily.
It’s going to be a change for Matt to have a bot that can do a bit of damage after Blade [Caketaker] and Ballistic.
Bender; modular robot system fitted with
Under cutting weapon attachment
Composite elasto reactive armor

What speed does that blade rotate at, Rob/Matt/Gary? I know those geared motors only do 320rpm on 24v, so I'm guessing you guys have over-volted and geared the weapon up.
