Power supplies , parallel and/or series?

Um what about seeing if you can power each of the quad chargers separately. Internally I thought they were literally four chargers in a box.

Also how big are we really talking here. Like do you need 20A+ 20A would be one hour. 40A half hour. And that's from full.discharge. Either way the pathetic balance resistors are going.to be the main time consumer.

Mario was talking about four 8AH packs; given that almost all packs are capable of being charged at 2C or more, they can use the full capacity of all four channels on the charger.

Its a very good idea to see if the channels can be powered separately; cheap 600W power supplies are much easier to find than a 2400W model.
