Aaron, test your bot out on the street and run it into gutters, off side walks and into speed bumps. I did that with roadkill, it really works out all the loose connections as well as acting like sandpaper to smooth down the base so it's got both a lower ground clearance as well as being smoother and easier to drive in the arena.

Taking it to the Skatepark on Saturday. Last weekend I gave it the "Sledhammer" treatment. I'm going to simulate some other things too. Like throwing it off the shed roof to simulate a Devastator flip and probably some other stupid shit... Might film it too...

Nothing at the moment, but I want to get use to using the Victors and setting them up in this test bot before they eventually go into something a bit bigger with the Dewalts I have.

Also, the IBC is Andrew's, so I don't want to abuse it too much.

Comparing Victors to the IBC:

Victors are significantly higher current; it's almost impossible to blow them up when driving drill motors.

The IBC is more integrated than the Victors; one board does everything and the wiring is dead easy.

The IBC has built-in AUX and flip channels, plus a BEC.

The Victors have a well fitted case that protects them from dirt and metal scraps.

The IBC can be repaired locally

The Victors cost more; you need two Victors, two booster cables, a mixer and a BEC to make a high current equivalent to the IBC.

I want my IBC back I've got it driving with the Victors, but this stupid ass issue keeps happening... I'll be driving it and it will suddenly failsafe... 2-3 seconds later it starts working again... It keeps intermittantly going into failsafe

I've done all the calibrations, according to the manual on the RMP.... I'm starting to wonder if it's the booster that is doing it

Argh, if it's not fixed by tomorrow, the IBC will just get wedged back in...

That is definitely not normal . What voltage are you running the Victors on? It could be that they are resetting themselves if the voltage dips under load as they do not have an internal BEC. I had this problem with another ESC and although the no-load voltage was fine, the ESC kept dropping out as the current draw increased. Of course, when I checked the voltage later it was fine again so the issue wasn't so obvious.
