Parsec - Team Dyrodium - NSW

Parsec is a new challange I can attempt without needing to spend hours in the workshop.

Parsec is a UK ant, at 150g. Smile

Specs:
Drives: Four modified micro servos - Slow but easy.
Weapon: Tiny outrunner from UH but don't underestimate it, 140W! Shocked Spinning a little Ti bar
Battery: 2S, 360mah lipo, 20-30C
Armour: Garolite and thin polycarbonate. Some aluminium perhaps.

The cad is rough because it's modelled off proposed specifications, and will be updated once all my gear arrives...

I'm not really expecting anyone else to make robots this tiny, this is more of a personal interest in seeing how small I can make a proper combat robot...
Size? 126mm wide by 117mm and under 20mm high. Sounds like fun! Laughing

Antweights are built to a 100 x 100 x 100 cube size limit Wink

Your frame materials will be on theri way shortly Very Happy Looking at the CAD, you really should have called it nanohazard; its a tiny ringer for the original overhead spinner

Actualy, looking at the parts, i might make an undercutter.
I could call it mini sissorhands. Laughing
It means I can follow the proper 10cm cube rule, and turns out jason and warran have antweights too so that's almost as much competition as the beetles! Shocked
Another problem is the battery is way overkill for a tiny antweight, and I can't afford the weight of four servo drives. Just messing with designs for now, but whatever it will be it will be nasty. Very Happy

Construction has commenced, problem with something so damn tiny is you need to reduce the size of all the wires, tedios is an understatement! Shocked

Cheers for the comment Jake!
It's pretty much done, driving and weapon works. Just needs a tiny collar to hold the blade in place and a connector to shorten the battery wire... Razz
