might give us an excuse to buy another one xD

but nah we all know my tests are completely safe >_>

haha on a robot note, gave it a run today constantly hitting stuff to see if anything breaks and it still works great.. keen for the weekend!

oh and the antweight will be interesting to say the least.. atm cant make it to full speed without shooting itself through the air xD entertaining though

soo it would seem i have caught some kind of full body spinner fever with side effects of it still doesnt spin fast enough disease rofl

the cure are a beetle and antweight fbs.
presenting "Facepalmmotron" Confused
2 modded servo drives and a 2205kv brushless on 7.4v lipo (~16000rpm) Confused
Shell will hopefully be from some 2024 aluminium and unsure on teeth yet due to trying to think of something that isnt just gonna tear out of the shell

anywho a cad:

And for the Beetleweight providing i can find something to make the shell out of, sourcing possibly a stainless saucepan which will be reinforced.

2 1000rpm gearmotor drives, 2050kv friction driven outrunner, want like 4000 - 6000rpm but things are looking at like 10000rpm eek ah well explody goodness

cad so far:

fun fun

interesting. i had some trouble with this at ant scale but my revised concept is more like your beetle cad. Im keen to see how you go getting it to balance properly.

Cute little beetle frame, hows you making the ant shell though? Looks like you might need someone with access to a reasonable size lathe and rotary table ;P
And some fairly huge billet loll Laughing

indeed makes it rather hard when your left with like 75g for a shell and frame, which becomes practically impossible to make a shell that is gonna last 1 fight rather then an event rofl but itll look cool nonetheless,

pfft its dylon your talking to, what rotary table Razz
my plan is to get a kind sir to lathe the shell and ill do the holes on the trusty drill press using a template Confused

you had 75g left for a frame and shell?!

i usually lump all my servos, rx, batteries, brushless gear and wheels onto the scales and it says something like 110g Razz
