bit of a bummer you have to put your own module in, but they reckon there getting in mega cheap turnigy modules to go in there, so id expect that to be ~ $20-30 us extra.
still not a bad deal

they dont say the cells are new as far as i could see.
I know of one HK ebay store that was selling used A123 cells at ~$10 per cell and they did not say if htey where new or used in the discription
US$155 shipped, or AU$214.59.
Works out to be $10.72 cell, cheapest I've seen anywhere, even cheaper then I got my last dewalt packs. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

If you buy 20x cells its $10.86/cell shipped.
If you buy 12x cells its $10.52/cell shipped.
Considering 2 x 12cell if I buy any to get an epic saving of ~$10
The real contrast is, we use to pay $4.50/cell for CP2400's (100+ cell group buy).
10x CP2400 = $45 for 12v - ~480g
4x A123 = $42.25 for 13.2v - 288g
There is no value in buying NiCD's any more Well maybe if you've already got NiCD chargers and stuff... _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Just the same as charging A123's, you plug it into a charger, you press a button and you wait _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

You do need to worry about balancing a lot more, but once the packs are made, then yeah. I guess you can care less about your robot running the ol nicads:P A lot less fragile. _________________ ( •_•)
Only 50 each and the motors on the lesser quality ones i have (the light blue cased one below the heavy duty setup) are masisve
I actually have a motor/gearbox setup here to work on during the day.
Think i may grab two as im looking at these setups for a nice lil slambot/forward hinge lifter and these if reliable should prove powerful drivetrains
All thats needed is make a beairng block on front to put shaft through so it keeps shaft clamped to gearbox (similar setup to dewalts where shafts push in), make mount similar to any normal drill and clamp back end securely and your done
Also curious how these would go geared down a tad via belts as drive for a hammer mechanism _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

same speed as dewalts too. looks awesome. youll just have to find a way to lock them in high gear.
new modules are here for that new 9 channel radio too. ill defo get one for demon soon
Wow, to think we use to consider getting a Skysport4 for under $220 was cheap in the day, now you can get 2.4ghz spektrum style radios for under $100...
It truely is a good time to be a newcomer to the sport
decent radios for <$100, high performance lithium batteries for less then the cost of nicd's, compact speed controllers with current limiting and thermal protection... _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
