Time for me to get building underway!

The current design will be a very low flat drum robot. It will be build inside a cut down motorbike tyre and will use a welded steel frame.
The weapon will be friction driven by dual Dick Smith polisher motors at 18 volts. The drivetrain will be 14.4v drill motors also on 18v.

The weapon drum has been salavaged from an exercise treadmill and we have one spare.

Speed controller and batteries are currently unknown. It will depend on what I can get my hands on. Control will hopefully be provided by a Spectrum.

The aim is to have it done by the November event. Look out for some pics soon!
