Are you coming on Saturday? If so, would you bring the parts you have?

I just thought of a simple solution for my clearance issue. Does anyone know how much I could turn down a 4 inch colson too?

Also anyone know of a power connector that can be easily mounted, as in it has mounting holes or similar for both the male and female ends. The same connector would need to handle a bit of current, its for a dewalt drive motor(two wires).

I tried this and the answer is "not much" the tread is quite thin and you will probably only be able to cut off around 5mm before hitting the hard, zero traction core. Don't be fooled by the tread side wall, the core goes further out than that.

Real soon now! And for something that unique, I could be persuaded to do some custom work after the next NSW event.

Now thats a generous offer! I'm starting to get motivated again after a small design mistake, which custom wheel diameters would fix.

The heat treater guy has my drum, but wishes to speak to me in person before he goes ahead. So I'm trying to find time to get to his place.

I ordered a Estation 902 charger today, so soon I will be able to charge larger packs.

My neu motor is being made, its a custom job when you add a gearbox to one.

The aluminum I need has been ordered and paid for and is well over due to arrive @ Caprol.

So custom wheels would sick, it looks like Aaron and I would like to have a go @ some up here in Queensland. Your offer to help would also be fantastic, I could turn some UHMW-PE hubs in my lathe give them a bore and send them to you(we will talk, hopefully Very Happy ).

Yay, I like it. Now to put some 12 gauge noodle wire on the battery packs and break them in and balance.

Have you got a decent spare ATX around Aaron?

What made you decide on that particular charger?

Lots of reasons I guess, but the BC8 which I have had for a while now charged and balanced the A123 cells. And I could purchase it locally @ a half decent price. The new one the 902 was purchased so I could charge more then 8 A123 cell packs. This bot I'm building uses two packs, one with 10 cells(for the weapon) and a 6 cell for drive. I will charge both packs simultaneously with both chargers.

Thanks. I will go to a lithium battery one day. I need to decide whether to go for a new charger or an adaptor. It is good to find that you are happy with this brand.

I see that there is a BC6 that is both AC and DC. Other than the amount of Li batteries it can charge in series, does it appear to be the same as yours?

The Daptors are for charging LiPol or A123's is a great way to get started. I'm very happy with them on my Triton2 units.

The MAX charge current is down to 5A, but apart from that yes. They seem good value too when you remember they include a balancer as well.
