For sale - traxxas nitro sport rc truggy

Had it for about 3 years but its literally been used 3 times, one to break it in, one it was out in the bush near my place for one tank and i took it out to race at whalan reserve once (about 2 tanks went through it) so its pretty well just broken in

Very simple rc, easy to work on, really strong and only 2wd, so its basically bulletproof drive wise. the engine is a .15 and its the easiest nitro ive ever tuned. im terrible at it and i can get this one spot on nearly every time.

Only thing to mention otherwise is i was doing backflips with it and landed upside down against a fence which broke the rear shock tower, so that has a new one on it that hasnt been used since installation

Heres a few pics of it in action

upgraded parts it has are -

- upgraded steering servo (it cost ~ $60) with around double the torque and speed of the original. much better steering. ill check the type tommorow

- upgraded 5 cell reciever pack. replaces the original 4x duracells

- comes with the 3 channel traxxas radio not the 2 so you can setup remote start.

- failsafe + reciever pack volt meter

- upgraded rear shock tower

- electric start dongle thingymajig with a 7.4v 2100mah nicad pack.

super fun car, drifts and hoons everywhere. you can backflip it and just beat on it totally. parts are ultra cheap for it too which is why i bought it in the first place. in stark contrast to the revo parts which are mega bucks.

$200~ all complete and ready to go

bummppyyyy

also have a traxxas revo 2.5 to go with it. complete - radio (use the same radio for the nitro sport and revo). has a full set of wheels with tyres as well (over $100). Also has quite a few spares as well (rocker arms and such)

runs good. absolute beast of an rc. its very very large. and it hauls ass.

asking $450 for both of them together. if your local you can have a pretty well full 4L bottle of nitro Smile

I go to CBC in notting hill, just down the road from those apartments we stayed in.
they can get pretty much anything in but you'd have to call them to order it in

CBC's timing pulley prices were ludicrous last time I asked, its sad but you'll probably be better off ordering from somewhere like sd-psi. Confused

What size plastic pulleys are you after? I have a bag of metal hub / plastic body timing pulleys about 25mm wide - any use?

never use UPS or fedex.
they both rip you hard and if the value of your goods is more than $500 they charge you an asstonne of "duty" and customs fees.
use USPS, they have express post options if you want that, usually you get it from the USA in like a week or so (which is about the same as UPS non express)

UPS usuall takes 4 working days - order on a Monday and there is a really good chance you will have your stuff on Friday morning. $118 is rather expensive - a big box of goodies from McMaster seldom costs me over $60. Did you order anything that is particularly long / heavy/ delicate?

Sounds like the old 'we don't want your business unless you pay this ludicrous fee we made up' trick. Laughing

Quite likely! I bet the parts come in a giant shipping box full of air - if it does, its worth complaining about as they should be able to ship in an appropriate box.
