Considering that the E-Tek isn't even attached means it looks like a spoof to me. _________________ Get Some!!!

I think it's a work in progress, mainly because who is realy going to try to spin a bar without bolting it to the motor... The drives and speedcontrollers seem to be wired up too.
What sucks is that these awesome fights always seem to be filmed so badly....

We will have to send the Keros to the next US event so that we can have good videos. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

I hear there are some cheap 2 for 1 deals to the US If not, one of you get economy and the other goes in hand luggage. We'll hold a battle at HOC to decided who goes in hand luggage _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Actually I have already started saving up to go to the RoboGames event next June. We'll see how my polycarb survives yankee spinners (it won't ),

I could only figure out how to watch these videos by streaming them. I hate when people don't let you right click and save as. And watch out, they are slightly big, so those with dial up might not get to see them.
But on the plus side both the Sewer Snake vs Karcas fights are some of the best fights I have seen. Geroge really needs to see Karcas.
And for those who think Jolt is invinsable, have a real close look at Sewer Snake and look at why they have the red forks installed on top of the robot.

Saw those videos on Saturday. Pretty good fights if you ask me! Sewer Snake pwn3d Megabyte like nothing. I've actually got some 50mm x 50mm x 4mm box section that they used on Sewer Snakes red forks lined up for Jolt at RoboWars 3
@Daniel: If you keep having problems of not being able to download videos, get a copy of Download Accelerator Plus. It has a little bit of spyware involved, but running your favourite anti-spyware program removes it from DAP. DAP has a cool feature of asking you to download any files associated with the webpage. I find this useful when looking for cracks/patches for games, as I can see what's trying to download onto my pc, most of the time I can find which files on the site are viruses and which are not. DAP can be picked up from www.speedbit.com _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

hehe yeah cool fights, I love sewer snakes victory dance at the end.
while those forks work well against megabyte I dont think they would be effective against Jolt.
The reason why a simple wedge cannot own Jolt is that it has ground scraping titanium wedges, so far various wedges and scoops have had no luck getting underneath them.
If we could reliably get under Jolt it would be too easy, scoop him up and ram him into the wall!!
I find making a good wedge is tricky, on a fast rambot a ground scraping wedge tends to get caught on the floor very easily and throw the bot around or slow it down, but Jolt is a lot slower so he does not really get affected by the wedges catching on things.
The trick is to try and wedge from the sides (or behind now the rear wedge is gone) but it is pretty hard to get in to the sides or behind Jolt, since he can rapidly spin on the spot to face you.
I have a few plans for getting past the wedge, but the main problem is that one mess up with driving means the robot takes a hit and usually that is bad news!
