Shame about the $16.50 each price though.
you need like a 50% discount on that which is a pretty tall order ;-> _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

I lost the damn link to this site! So much to catch up on… haha
Glen, if you can find wholesale people who won’t sell to you let me know. I have a personal business license which allows me to buy in true wholesale from places that won’t sell to the ‘public’. I don’t mind being the middle man for you guys. Same for anything really... I dont mind shipping to Auzi Land for you guys.

Eya guys.
Got a reply from Anthony at UH, they're selling their cells with almost no markup to what they're paying for them and can't help out with a lower price, due to the price being "fixed" by Dewalt.
I reckons we should just go with the ebay seller glen found... _________________ ( •_•)

$100USD a pack is still pretty cheap really. Considering to build a 36v pack out of CP2400's (Closest cell to the same mAh) is around $100USD anyway... _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

I'm pulling out. I don't want to wait any longer for this deal to happen so I have ordered some Li-Pol's instead.

Just found this on Robot Marketplace
http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/battery_build_li-ion.html
AND they use A123s
A 36V (10 cell) 3250mAH brick with 12G cable, no connectors costs US$130 and weighs 1.81lb (60A max discharge)
A 36V (10 cell) 2300mAH brick with same wire + connectors as above is US$150
Loose 3250mAH cells are US$10 each, the 2500mAH cells are US$11 each

I didn't understand their pricing either. The 3200mAh look like they might be generic ones (looking at the picture)

Interesting, if the higher capacity cells r the same type may be worth looking ionto those, all the benefits of a123 packs and now bout same capacity of the old 3.6 amp nicad packs that could run some hefty motors nicely
higher amp a123 cells will be alot more tolerant to beefier motors as last event my batteries got a lil warm spinning the fan motor and shell _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics
