Arena's for different weight classes

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has done calculations or has tested what the recommended thichnesses for the lexan of arenas should be for the different weight classes?

In the USA, we use 3/8" lexan for 'bots up to 12 pounds -- but that assumes a steel 'kicker' railing around the inside to keep the 'bots from directly smacking the plastic. This would likely be OK for 30 pound 'bots as well...

One inch lexan will be good for up to 320 pound 'bots -- again assuming a substantial 'kicker' rail. Ceilings are about 1/4".

I've seen 1/8" used for one-pound US antweights with good results.

Your milage may vary.
