fresh blog
some more scientific type results
trying to sheild the antenna etc
quite pleased with the method
not so much with the results.

go some ideas on the next step, perhaps another update tonight

also i think i opened up comments on that site

simpleish ibc mod
doubled radio range (with smaller antenna)

now we are limited only by motor noise

there seems to be some interest in these FET controllers for interfacing with the IBC's
check the marketplace for a thread on it and i'll see what the demand is
also i'll have a look at putting togther a group buy on batteries anybody have some ideas on sources and the like?

Jason recently bought some Sanyo's (as used in BattlePacks) from Master Instruments.. I'd be interested in some 3000, 3300 or 3600's if the bulk price is significantly cheaper.

any suggestions for what to do with 1.5kg?
we dont madly want to redesign the whole bot.

Plan-B is currently legal at 12kg

Makeing the weapon heavier would be the best thing

One suggestion is paint that fibre glass shell.It dose look a little plain.
Another suggestion is put some spiks comeing out of the shell all around the bot.

For some reason i click on the link to your blog and nothing comes up. Just a blank screen. Would anybody know why. As i would really like to see what u and Russell have been up to with your designs
