A 1mm thick carbon fiber base that will be bolted to the chassis to stiffen it up.

I would use thicker CF and do away with the struts - much easier to manufactur and probably about the same weight

I currently run that setup with a PCB chassis, however it offers no protection for the motor, wiring or ESC. I've lost a couple of fights due to this and want to start eliminating the problem. I also want to mount the weapon ESC in the area between the spars to make the main body less cluttered (and in the future, allow me to reduce the body size) and the spars will stop the disc from hitting the weapon ESC.

***Admins want to move these last couple of posts over to my Antweight thread instead of cluttering Jake's thread Razz ***

@Jaemus BURN!
fair call ;-P

Did you want us to perhaps mill a pocket out to put your stuff in?

IE fill in the "triangle" at the front say 1mm thick with a space between it and the carbon?
