Drill gearbox slipping

The gearbox of my drill motor has started having thsi weird problem where wehn it turns, it kind of slips and doesn't turn any gears. I think it's the clutch slipping, but I'm not sure. Any solutions before I take apart my drill motor?
Thanks in advance,
Damien
EDIT: It slips when I turn it by hand, but moves when it turns via the motor. It's still a problem because my robot veers to one side a lot now when it goes forward.
