I used 3D printed stuff in Epoxy Stingray which worked pretty darn well when I just screwed Ali to it. So structurally yes but from the 150g class I have learned it just sorta disappears upon impact with spinners. _________________ Steven Martin

It might hold up to blunt weapons ( to a degree), but against sharp weapons, most likely NOT.....but it gave us some ideas for other solutions, but they do look kindof cool, funky or perhaps some other adjective (lol)
A bent peice of 2-3mm HDPE with mounts to bolt on would prolly work reasonably well. It would flex when it got hit to some degree. Printed stuff will just shatter.

Next time I would suggest bulk order of 20 10A (non-premiums).
Steve
I am hoping that you will work with me, should I order a bunch of them!!
I really also need a solution for a weapon gearbox similar to the B104 that RMP sells, but has none in stock, or like the Ebay g-boxes, butwith a ratio between 100 and 256 to 1
Should I change my order to the non-premiums? are they as good (or close)? If so, maybe we could change the order to 20 of the regulars? at 10 amps, they are already total overkill for powering the ebay g-boxes that I am currently using
Difference IMO is minimal. 10Ps are more difficult to program but they are rated to 4S which is higher than normal 10s (3S). The FETs are also marginally better but again depends what you are doing with them. I have run 10As fairly hard and they still keep going. Also Greg in Puerto Rico has had about 40 of them with no issues AFAIK for 3lbers. (other than some trimming issues)

Were his trimming issues similar to mine? Spektrun related? Did he get them resolved? The econo 10a escs will be fine for most applications, in that they will run 3s. I can use the plushes for the odd case where 4s might be used.
