My mate just got the same motor for his spinnery ant, seems pretty powerful so this should be one to watch out for as well.

Looks the same build as the one in nyant just a different KV, i'd put some locktite on the ring as I think it comes only press fitted and jaemus' bot popped it off initially. Smile

The motor is held together by a clip on the base of the whole assembly. The weapon sis only press fit on at the moment using some Jaycar pully assemblies. I plan to add some glue and optimism.

New update, perspex chassis is done.

Current weight is 137g before i cut of alot of wiring and modify the battery connector from large red plug to removable 1s batteries.

Looking good. Ditch the heatshrink of the HK10s and get some kapton tape if you need a few extra grams. You can also remove one of the 5V regs if you get really desperate too

perspex as in acrylic? Very brittle stuff, i'd try to get some polycarbonate for future which won't shatter nearly as easily. Plastix near arncliffe always have a handy array of offcuts they give to me for next to nothing. Smile

Ok Updates on "Flint"

Its good to go, weights 130g and will add coke bottle armour given its previous effectivness. One fully invertible mobile angle grinder ready for tomorrow.
