I cannot due to soundwave festival.
Considering the event is the weekend after this one we can always move it back a week or two. I'm sure Dave will have no issues. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

We will see how its going but at this stage its all on track
No worries either, i have to leave about 1pm on Saturday But if you can grab the ply and give me a hand trimming down the polycarb (needs about 20mm trimmed off each side on all panels) saturady that should be plenty!
Now back to the roof. Nearly got it assembled Worked out a way to carry each assembled 2.4m long side myself XD! its quite amusing _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

About how much needs trimming off the Polycarb windows? Let me know which of those panels is the best fit for the roof and I will pick them up Friday.

Anywhere between 20-30mm I would say just looking at the thing, they overlap each other in the middle by about 5-10 and they need to sit either side of a 10mm strip.

Think I'm coming down with the flu so that's enough for the day. Starting to look decisively roofish. Still tons of welding, grinding and lining up to do.
Nice work! _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam

Okay, smashing on through work and sniffling like hell lol.
Got the support tabs tacked on so i could start mounting the beams properly. What a nightmare of a job. Lol. Had to sit on a ladder to weld these things on -
Then i started welding the nuts onto the back of the box section. Another hell of a job. NEVER AGAIN lol x.x. But the join looks pretty good to me anyway.
The polycarb mounted up on one side, all seems to mount up decently enough. Just have to go buy some nuts and bolts tommorow and hopefully i can finish the beams off ready for the roof on the weekend.

I will drop by later tomorrow with the extra piece of ply. I can't believe how much work the panels were but at least they are super strong and fit really well!
