Urmm... Having 36v packs that weight less then 1kg The space saving and weight savings are pretty funky... We already wait 20-30mins to charge, so what's the deal? _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Can't see the point, my chargers will not go anywhere near 36V anyway. The main thing I was looking for in the DeWalt chargers is cell balancing. The one hour charge is sucky but for $55 it is not too bad. Comparing several of those to a top range LiPo charger + a hefty PSU to power it and the Dewalts may actually be better value for money. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

One ebay seller is offering the packs at $110 USD shipped, which is roughly $145 AUD. Quite a bit better than Rubygirl! I am asking about supplying the chargers as well.
If anyone else wants a pack or two, I will probably be ordering at the end of the month. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

I'm interested Nick, but I would like to run 7 cell packs @ 23.1volts. How would I go about charging a pack like that with balancing?

Good question! you couldn't use the dewalt charger as it would want to balance 10 cells at a time. You would probably have to use a Lipo charger and that adapter widget mentioned above. As long as the charger will do 7 to 8 LiPo cells (the Triton can) then it should all work.
Spockie would be the guy to give you the definitive answer... _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

If you mean the LipoDapter, they don't state the Triton as a supported charger. mmm

I'm still looking for charging solutions, if anyone has any ideas. Thanx. _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

I think you are stuck with the lipodaptor and one of their supported chargers.
BTW: I will be ordering those DeWalt packs and chargers tomorrow or Monday. If anyone else wants one, PM me ASAP! _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Ok Nick, I don't want to hold you back.
CALL OUT:
Is anyone interested in going half's in three 36v Dewalts batt packs. I would like 14 cells, leaving 16 cells.
Does anyone want 16 A123 Cells?
Adding three packs to Nicks order would be the way to go @ the moment!

I think they will be around $110 to $115 USD, which includes shipping. _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.
