Few guys have been asking about HK conversions for old transmitters like I did to my DX6. If anyone is keen on this can do conversion including HK module for $50 + p/h. It should work fine for transmitter which uses a PPM signal.

The reason for doing this is you gain the programming functions of your radio while being able to bind to cheap HK rx modules. As far as I know the same TX module is used in the HK-4 Channel, HK-6 Channel and Turnigy 9CH however I have only tested this mod with a 6CH Tx. But I think it should work for >6Ch you may just not be able to use the extra channels.

This mod can also retain the original transmitter, either with a select switch or simply leaving both running.
