Any featherweight workshops? That would be hectic.

Oh yeh you can. But not one I really would want to sell to people. That an the offset of my time preparing it is and being responsible for it doesn't really equate to $100.

Basically a realistic parts cost is $300 but by the time you account for my work, spares, ect ect makes it a bit unlikely.

If people want to do it for $100 they can but I am not going to build them a robot for $100.

Unlikely. Ant maybe, beetle maybe, feather probably not. Not enough time to really develop one.

Maybe a parts bundle with everything but then I dunno if there is much point.

Yeah I guess people who are going to get into this, are doing it because they like building stuff already.I wonder how many they sell on RMP of those $800 robot shells?

I think they sell quite a few. But not really something we want to do. More facilitate people building then make a heap of robots the same.

Good one. Do you need to do much work on it yourself or does the printer just do the lot without intervention?

Well the printer makes the shell. You just have to draw it and get it started then what you see in the pics is what you get. There is no cutting or cleaning up done to those.

I just finished printing V3 while doing other work and everything now snaps in pretty well perfectly. Might add 1 or 2 zip ties to hold a few things down. Will CAD up a flipper top tonight and print it.

Other thing I really haven't decided is how to do the batteries. I have a 1S nano tech with nine eagles wires which I am currently intending to solder a RC power plug onto and then heat shrink but not sure if that is ideal.

If these ever end up sold as kits I could bundle this in with the 1S and wire up a connector to it.

Very very cheap.
