well, my feather did.....not so well yesterday one of the wheels is pretty bent now, at first i thought it was just the wheel that was bent (an easy fix with a hammer Razz ) but i have now found that the shaft of the motor is also bent so i have to replace them both. probably a good thing, it didnt seem that powerful in the arena as it should be.
manage to get one of the motors out but i can get the other off without taking the wheel off also which is araldited on, bugger Confused
any ideas on how to get the wheel off without damaging it or the motor?

You could try heating the Araldite and hope the wheel doesn't melt first. Do you have any videos of your fights?

Hacksaw it off, smack yourself on the wrist and don't araldite a damn wheel on again Razz

Super dodgey mode i'd try clamp the wheel in a vice and see if you can quickly hit the motor with 12v or whatever it uses and hope it jolts loose real quick (don't leave it on long or you'll burn out the motor quick smart)

It seemed a bit slow in the video - my experience is that non-spinners need to be fast to control their opponents.

That looks like money well spent! The increased speed will really help and the lifter looked faster as well.

yeah, now it jams faster! in the video i was running with the slower setting on the dx5e so with it on full it should nip along nicely.
coming up to £300 (about $500 ausd?) on this robot

You can program your own ESCs if you are willing to learn a bit about programming. (Self plug)

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__10331__Turnigy_Brushless_ESC_85A_w_5A_SBEC.html brings cost of ESCs down to about $40 per channel.
