There is nothing wrong with chopping board. Just probably not a structural item. Razz

well, finaly decided on what weapon it will have this time, a lovely axe/hammer.
had a look at the guide somewhere on this site, i ve got a 1.2kg hammer and a 300watt scooter motor, i get the basic idea of what to do, im not overly sure why i need the 200mm pnematic wheels, and what to do with them,
thanks

You want the wheels because they can be pulled apart and used as hubs for the axe. They have two very cheap chinese bearings in a tube with a plate on one end. I then put one hub on each side of the axe/hammer/machette. I also used them as spinner hubs a long time ago.
I'm currently rebuilding my axe robot and still use the 300W motor and chains, but now I'll use a bisalloy axe with a custome hub, mostly to reduce the width and wobble of the wheel hubs

That robot sure has been around. Laughing Neat idea to mill out the tooth side to get it balanced, but that blade looks dead blunt! Shocked

Funky, what does it use to deal with the thrust loads or does the weapon system just flop up and down between the weapon arms Smile
