I didn't get any pics. When you see it in person it doesn't look impressive so you just walk past it. But it started getting respect once it started beating the top guys. The fight against Last Rights was very, very, very loud. That fight also did a lot of damage to the arena.

Vendetta didn't fight. I got it ready but there was no arena time. Then I took the TZ85a's that were installed in it and threw them in with Huntsman.

no, its really strange. They call it AR400 and its only used by the top teams on their wedges. None of them use it on their spinners. They prefer tool steel and alumnium. Breaking tool steel just seems normal too them. Making a heavyweight chassis out of AR400 was a shock to most of the teams here.

AR400 and Bisalloy 400 seem pretty on-par in terms of properties, I think they have an opposite situation where ali is cheaper and easier to source in good grades rather than mining steels. Smile I bet the botbitz escs 'rocked their world view' too...!

It's strange how that goes isn't it. Most of the UK heavyweights now seem to be made from the bisalloy equivalent.

Never really understood how the tooth deforming a tiny bit or bending a little is any worse than the entire weapon coming apart and becoming useless. Each to their own!

Well most of the american builders I talked to have never heard of HobbyKing. The botbitz controllers confused them and the price just confused them. $65 for an 80amp controller just got glazed expressions.

Also the Mortician broke its tool steel bar and sent the broken piece into the roof/wall and stopped the fight for 10 - 15 minutes. The Electric Boogaloo vs Last Rites fight also caused 15 - 20 minutes of arena repairs.

What do you think of their arena? I noticed in a few vids there's a heck of a lot of cracks in things in the polycarbonate.
