You could always adjust the pulley ratios so that the wheels are all driving at the same rate. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Or move the wheels a bit closer, and put intermediate friction drive idler wheels between them. Less work than belts, and about the same weight when you take additional pulleys into account. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

Friction drives would also get the wheel speeds all the right ratio, as it transfers the surface speed of the wheel, not the angular velocity of the axle.

I like the idea and I have the weight to spare will see how I go,
WhizzBee is now painted, has a pointy arrow and self righting bar.
apart from any more little mods she is done now going to concentrate on spares and packing.

Looks epic, very keen to see it rip stuff up in the arena! _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

epic damage but a one hit wonder glass cannon lol did well for a first attempt at a full body spinner but now the guts are going to get an overhaul _________________ Creative Instigation - Build Something Awesome!
it did pretty well against an uber spinner of doom, just buff it out right? _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

How did your weapon motor hold up? It looks like you don't have a support bearing on the opposite side of the chassis, did you have any issues pre-loading the shell onto the friction wheel?

Righto so last year at nats Whizzbee did well.
the shell get bent in where the tooth was from the force (no photo sorry)
the aluminium floorplate turned into a bannana making everything rub together.
and zipties holding escs together just does not work(trashed some wiring and tz85's ),
but on the upside did cause some carnage!
so far I have replaced some aluminium supports with steel and am trying to get rid of the floorplate altogether (taking advice from rotwang at nats)
Welded on a biz80 ring (holes drilled for speed and weight ) hopefully the side will not dent in from the teeth anymore.

'If in doubt, add more steel' - Whizzbee should be much tougher at the next event. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
