PinPoint 3D - 3D Printing Service

Hi All

I'm pleased to introduce PinPoint 3D, the new 3D printing service aimed at people who are tired of paying over the odds for quality prints.

PinPoint 3D is UK based but we welcome international enquiries.

Offering ABS in multiple colours and soon Nylon we can help to make your project a reality, whether it is for a robot or prototype 3D printing is the way to go.

We aim to offer high quality prints at reduced prices (compared to other internet companies) sometimes saving the customer as much as 50%!

For examples of our work check out www.pinpoint3d.co.uk

Enquires welcome - info@pinpoint3d.co.uk

Search for PinPoint 3D on Facebook to be kept up to date with all the new additions

Thanks - Alex

A few of us over here have UP Minis. And one is being offered as a prize for our next public event. So not sure if we need to go international for cheap 3D printing.

You may also be interested to know I have written software which automatically slices and emails quotes for STLs with Up software, atm providing a Paypal link for payment. It is able to print emailed stl with a certain password.

Its not finished but PM me if you would like more info. Plan was to automate it so you could setup an UP farm with limited interaction until the parts are actually going to be printed as Quoting people is the painful and time consuming part which doesn't usually end up with a sale.

I have some feedback in regards to your website.
As a semi security conscious person, I run a browser addon called "No Script" which prevents scripts from running in my browser without permission. To get your website to load, I had to allow scripts to run from four external domains:

newrelic.com
parastorage.com
wix.com
wixstatic.com

I've no issues allowing temporary access to your own domain (pinpoint3d.co.uk) but I find it a little nerving to have to allow four other unknown domains script access just to be able to view your website.

Hi

Thanks for your feedback

I'll look into this and see if anything can be changed to alter this
