So what'd everyone think of this weeks ep?

Fights were pretty lame honestly. Hypershock v biteforce was good, although the screws mysteriously turning off when bite force was about to get hung up on them was more than suspicious!

What an upset by overhaul as well, very surprised lockjaw failed, didn't look like any chains had derailed in the weapon, wonder what happened?

Hopefully next week will be awesome, stinger v bronco, yes please!

Here is the latest preview from the Robogames 2015 DVD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvGaQ7Lx2Co&feature=youtu.be . Not as slick a the big budget Battlebots but still looks good.

Glad Dave has started putting up some previews of the DVD, it was starting to feel like people had been duped of their cash from the Kickstarter with the lack of updates.

Pre-ordered my Bluray copy today!

Also, Witch Doctor VS Tombstone, awesome match! Tombstone got owned.

Awesome, got me a copy of that too. Always found it amusing that with the climb of youtube the amount of good videos from the big US events went down dramatically. I kinda skipped most vids of the last 2 years cause there's bugger all of them aside from shaky phone vids.

THAT EPISODE THOUGH, WOW. I needed to take a few breathers watching that! All the matches were sensational, bite force v overhaul was the definition of a back and forth fight, i still couldn't have called the winner having watched it back.

Suspected bronco might beat stinger, but that was a bit unlucky on stingers part, or was that strategy on bronco's behalf? Whatever the case that flipper is amazing considering the weight it's throwing about Shocked

Unlucky for icewave, but he had to flip over sooner or later. There's no place for an uninvertible / non self righting robot at the top level.. Love the ghost raptor team or hate them, that was an amusing and functional add on.

And lastly tombstone v witchdoctor. Wow, gutted for WD, it had that fight in the bag until it landed on its back in that position, but as the robot mantra goes, any position the robot can get stuck in, it will..

Also file under - S7 does not work as a weapon material. Razz

Bronco v tombstone next week, good lord what a barn stormer that will be. The next 7 days wait will be painful for sure.

Haha, totally agree. After so many people writing broken S7 weapons off as "It only breaks if you don't now how to use it" and Ray's "The secret is to use X hardness" seems to mean shit all after tonight's episode Smile

was sad to see stinger get flipped out Sad and was great to see Tombstone nearly get clobbered …. snapped weapon is always embarrassing. Witch doctor did well.

Sad it will be over soon. Sad

Do we know if its been popular amongst the masses... and are they doing another one?

Is it slightly cheating if you make a weapon specific for your opponent half way through the tournament?

Semi's and finals were good.
Would have liked to have seen a 3rd place play off to see how took the follow up places though.

Battlebots website tanked for a bit, so hope it was a DDOS attack via new people interested in the sport Cool

Chuck was a complete asshole (as usual) after the Ghost Raptor / Biteforce match.
